Eating Disorder & Trauma Recovery Counseling

Compassionate treatment for eating disorders, trauma, and rebuilding trust with your body.

Healing from eating disorders and trauma can feel lonely and confusing.
You may feel disconnected from your body, exhausted from trying to hold everything together, or unsure where to begin.

Recovery is possible, and you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I believe recovery is not about fixing your body.
It is about rebuilding trust with yourself.

Eating disorders and trauma often develop as ways of coping with overwhelming experiences. Healing involves understanding those patterns with compassion while creating new ways to care for yourself.

Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to your unique story.

Hi, I’m Ruth.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker specializing in eating disorders, trauma, and body image healing. I work with adults who feel stuck in painful cycles with food, body image, or the impact of trauma.

My approach is compassionate, relational, and trauma-informed. I draw from several therapeutic approaches and tailor therapy to what will best support your healing.
